Perhaps we need to negotiate with Hamas and understand their perspective. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so let's start with a picture.

Don't you get it yet? The only thing that the Western world hates more than radical Islam, is the Jews. I know it sounds insane... but its the only reasonable explanation for the constant double standard. They really don't care that Hamas are a bunch of murdering terrorists, so long as they do their job and get rid of us. The older I get, the more I feel that most of Europe is actually disappointed with the outcome of WW2.

Steve, when you write 'we shouldn't question Hamas' rule because - they were democratically elected in free and fair elections!' are you being tongue in cheek/sarcastic as I hope or have you been so 'nuanced' that you have 'nuanced' yourself all the way into post-Zionism?
