Last week, Aish Hatorah’s founder and Dean Rabbi Noah Weinberg, of blessed memory, passed away. Whilst we tend to focus almost exclusively on the importance of the IDF in fighting Jewish battles, we should remember that great men like the late Rabbi Weinberg were also engaged in the same battle but on a different front. Aish Hatorah puts it well when they say “Rabbi Weinberg was fighting the battles of the Jewish people until his very last day” (Aish.com).
Rav Noach was a giant who made a contribution to the Jewish people that very few can match up to.
He will be sorely missed.

Thanks David. That's brilliant. The Rabbi in the article is the Rabbi at Aish HaTorah in South Africa. He lives across the road from us and was actually at my wedding. He if a great Rabbi and has a lovely family.
Aish HaTorah gave me my grounding in Judaism and will always have a place in my heart.
