Immanuel Suttner

Dear Steve

Hi.Immanuel Suttner here, visiting from Sydney Australia. Two points.

For all the hysterical demagogues who talk about the "genocidal killing of Palestinians by Israelis" and Israel's genocidal policies, a small question;

Before the 2nd World War there were 18 million Jews in the world. After the holocaust - the systematic slaughter of 6 million Jews and some five million Gypsies, Slavs, Homosexuals and other "undesirables" - the Jewish population of the world has never climbed above 13 million.

By contrast under the so called "occupation" of Gaza, the Palestinian poplation GREW from less than 600 000 in 1967 to today's 1.5million Palestinians living there. And in the West Bank the Palestinian population has also more than tripled under Israeli rule. Strange genocide eh??

Immanuel Suttner

Should the Israeli leadership ignore the bleating of the hypocrites and continue its campaign to make its citizens safe?

"It is my purpose, as one who lived and acted in these days, to show how easily the tragedy of the Second World War could have been prevented; how the malice of the wicked was reinforced by the weakness of the virtuous;...We shall see how the counsels of prudence and restraint may become the prime agents of mortal danger; how the middle course adopted from desires for safety and a quiet life may lead directly to the bull's eye of disaster."

Pg 32, The Second World War, Volume I, The Gathering Storm, Winston S Churchill

Steve

Hi Immanuel,
We haven't heard from you in a while. Have you relocated to Sydney for good? Did you watch any of the cricket?

Great quote from Churchill and ya, its frustrating that in the face of the facts we still hear cries of genocide.

Lolah

What makes you think our Liberal better angels even disagree with most of that?

Steve

Well, given their statements of support for Hamas and implicit support of the aggression against Israel, we have to assume that they do agree with the Hamas charter.

Immanuel Suttner

Hi Steve

Trust you are well and kol hakavod on keeping the flag flying in such an elegant way. Yes have relocated to Sydney where I teach Jewish Studies. And yes watched the cricket and of course was supporting South Africa

Behatzlacha...I wish you clarity and compassion
Best
Immanuel

PS: A fictitious letter blow...dunnoif it makes the point...

Dear Sir

I wish to protest against the Izraayli agression against Hamas in Gaza. This aggression is preventing Hamas from carrying out its legitimate missile testing programme on Jewish targets, in order to improve the accuracy and deadliness of its missiles. As you know, Hamas is a G-d fearing organisation, and Shaariah does not allow it to carry out these tests on Fatach members, because those dogs are still nominally Mosleem, and a Mosleem may not harm another Mosleem, unless sending said Mosleem to kill themselves and as many Jew pigs as possible can be considered "harm".

We suggest that all decent people begin to boycot Izraeyli products, just as the Poles and The Germans did with such great effect before the Second World War - and look at what marvelous things those groundbreaking boycotts led to!

Asaalam
