A letter in the Citizen today by Anthoney Posner gets straight to the point.
THE Minister of Intelligence is repeating the slur that the Israelis are Nazis. Does his colleague, President Mbeki, agree? What is the position of government on this issue? |
We don't think that President Mbeki will bother to respond but we are sure that he will read the letter. And we think he should be pushed on the matter.
Red Ronnie makes these allegations in his capacity as a Cabinet member. I think that the President should clarify the Cabinet's position.
I will do my best to get Ronni Einstein to respond if the President is too busy to give it his full attention.

Ronnie Einstein?

Vaz,
Kasrils has written that Einstein was highly critical of Begin's guerilla warfare tactics and it is his view that Einstein would approve of the Israeli/Nazi epithet.
As a result, especially when one considers that he is actually The Minister of Intelligence..... Ronni Einstein.

And the fact that he is really 'no Einstein'.

Steve,
I think it might be an idea to blog the editorial in today's Jewish Report.
Has the editor erred in not allowing Ronno Einstein a right to reply.
I am considering my response over the week-end, and I would appreciate views.
