I hated the checkpoints - as seen from a Palestinian point of view. HORRIBLE.
But they serve a purpose which the world will never understand.
Israel has to plod on regardless of world opinion, doesn't it?

Gaza-man

Yep - those check points make if very difficult for me to transport C4 on buses filled to the brim with Israeli school kids. It is clearly a violation of my right to do so, and very much like Apartheid (which didn't actually happen, it was a conspiracy to boost sympathy for the African Natives in the South).

I even heard them Zionazis want to put bags of pigs blood in local buses to detour people from transporting my contraband to peace loving activists! Just shows how low they'd go to stop the peace process.
